On April 20, 2017 at 5:30 PM, we will be honoring the legendary director Don Neuen, with a evening of warm memories, stunning performances, and best of wishes for his next adventure, as he steps away from directorship after decades of service.
Many of Don’s favorite performers will be in attendance, honoring the man with their amazing musical gifts! Here are a couple of the performers you can expect to see if you attend:
Tom Tipton
A longtime soloist with a legacy going back decades with the Hour of Power, Tom is a living heritage of musical expression. Famous for his blending of gospel, jazz, R&B and hymns, Tom has performed all around the country, from small gatherings to the White House. He is known to share his gifts at anywhere freedom and liberty are celebrated!
Dorothy Benham
The winner of the prestigious title of Miss America in 1977, Dorothy remains lovely both inside and out. A classically trained lyric-coloratura soprano, she has brought her exceptional talent and soaring high-notes to the Hour of Power many times to the delight of our audiences.
Daniel Rodriguez
Known as the “Singing Policeman,” Daniel’s powerful tenor voice lifted spirits and inspired hope following the tragic attack on September 11, 2001. As an officer in New York City’s finest, he was only two blocks away from the towers of the World Trade Center when they were attacked. Now, Daniel continues to bring hope and inspiration as he performs around the country. His close work and friendship with Don and our ministry will be on full display!
