Gear up and clip on for a high altitude adventure at Everest Vacation Bible Fun!

This year we are going to expand the experience by presenting VBF over six consecutive Sunday mornings!  Each Sunday morning service – 9:30 and 11:15 – will feature a vacation Bible school type schedule of lively and varied activities!  Instead of having VBF for a single week when many families can’t attend, we are going to have it all summer long!  Starting June 21, we will be climbing Mount Everest each Sunday until we summit on July 26!

Every child who attends will wear a special climbing vest and helmet!  If they come more than once, they get to keep them!   Each week kids will be given special pins and carabiner  medals as they reach new heights climbing towards the summit!  Each Sunday climb includes crafts, games, great singing and challenging lessons!  We will learn to use God’s power and HIs promises to help us in the challenges of life!

We do extra activities and give out a LOT of extra stuff for this program!  We have decided, however, not to charge any extra fee for the crafts, snacks and gifts.  Instead, if you feel led to do so, we will provide Everest Offering opportunities for you to give as God leads you to do so.  Most of all, we want this program to bless children – members or visitors – and help them to love church and love God even more!

The purpose of VBF is to spiritually enrich kids lives, provide fun community interaction, and reach out to new families.  Your goal as parents is to bring your family to as many weeks as possible AND to bring along friends!  Have your kids invite a friend or neighbor!  Or invite a whole family to come enjoy this unique kids event and our Sunday services for adults!  We are extending each service for kids by 15 minutes so you will have plenty of time to visit and interact after each service.  So INVITE, INVITE, INVITE more children and families to experience Christ, and Mount Everest, at Shepherd’s Grove this summer!
