Rooted is Taking Root

We are now six weeks into our 10-week Rooted small group program and God is already doing some incredible things! With both our staff and congregation participating in a total of eight groups around campus, we are deepening our faith, learning from each other, and tackling the strongholds that keep us from living our best life in Jesus. While everyone had different reasons for choosing to take part, at this point, all are in agreement that this is a powerful and transformational discipleship experience.

With facilitators leading group discussions and the Rooted book serving as a guide, participants are encouraged to think deeply about an array of subjects pertaining to their lives as Christians, to communicate their thoughts to the Lord, and then to share them with each other; prayer, community, and hands-on service are vital components of the program.

Here are just a few of the stories God has already written through Rooted:

“This is a life-changing program. The privilege of sharing both struggles and victories in a safe and caring environment has been powerful, enabling me to embrace God’s love for me more fully.”

“I love Rooted. It has given me a place to just be. To be myself and connect deeply with others and in my community, while encouraging me to be with God. This program has really allowed me to slow down and learn about who God is and who God says I am.”

“Rooted has changed my relationship with God. It has helped stand firm in how much He loves me and it has changed the way I live my life. Now, I want to try to emulate His love to all of those around me.”

Jesus is always moving us forward, and we are thankful for His constant revelation to us and His renewing work in our lives through His Word and through this program. We believe this journey can be transformational for you too, and we want you to take part! New groups will be forming in April so be on the lookout for more information.
