Pastor Bobby Schuller begins his new series for the new year entitled “The Narrow Road: How to be Alive” with the message “The World Needs Someone Like You” at Shepherd’s Grove on Sunday January 1, 2017.
With this message, Pastor Schuller reminds us that we all have gifts and talents that the world needs. Just like Jesus, we have the same power by faith to bring the best out of people. If we use words to describe ourselves in a negative way, we will convince ourselves that it is true because words harbor an inconceivable amount of power. And since there is authority in our words, we should use that power to proclaim positivity over our lives and the lives of others. We are inspired to start this year off with the enlightening message: “You are the light of the world; you are the salt of the earth”.
