Night of Healing

Do you need a miracle? We have good news for you: God is still in the miracle working business! The Bible tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)--He is doing miracles today just as He did in the Bible.
James 5:14-15 says, "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven."
Not only is Jesus still healing people, but He has commissioned and empowered us to partner with Him in ministering healing to others.
Just a few chapters after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Jesus said, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it" (John 14:12-14).
Jesus made it clear to us that His will is ALWAYS to heal. When the leper asked Jesus if He was willing to heal him, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared (Luke 5:13). Every person who came to Jesus was healed, without exception.
Friend, be encouraged. There is no hopeless situation when the God of the impossible gets involved. Nothing is too great for Him! He loves us deeply (it was His idea to sacrifice His Son on the cross to save and redeem us), and He longs to make us whole. He is such a kind Father.
1 Peter 2:24 says “He Himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.”
The gift of healing was bought and paid for on the cross, and now is the time to receive His free gift. We'll share a time of prayer and Spirit-filled worship — led by Larry Walker and his band — with other friends and believers in our community!
