1 – The Fun Factor
At VBS at SHEPHERD’SGROVE, we teach the truth about Jesus while having fun! This instills the idea in kids that church is a warm, welcoming place where they can learn about their Savior. Having fun and learning at the same time is so important for kids during the summer, when fun should be before academics.
2 – Hands-on Learning
A big part of the VBS experience is bringing to life what we’re covering. Our Children’s Ministry Director Tracy Coggins is phenomenal at putting VBS together and planning activities based on how the child will respond. One of the coolest things about VBS is how everything is themed, and this year’s theme includes a carnival, circus acts, talent shows, and more!
3 – Rockin’ Music
Your child will not be bored by the musical selections at this year’s VBS! Your child will enjoy fun, fast songs with upbeat tempos and great rythms!
4 – Amazing Crafts
At VBS we will have crafts for kids of all ages! This is a crucial part to the VBS experience, and it gives the kids something to talk about and take home at the end of the day!
5 – Great Snacks
What would VBS be without kid-friendly snacks? Does your child like goldfish? Say no more!!
6 – Lasting Impact
Vacation Bible School leads kids to live out the Word. The Bible stories portrayed at VBS have life applications and lessons that kids can be actively involved in. At SHEPHERD’SGROVE, we want to instill the idea in children that they are unconditionally loved by both God and us! Not only will your kids be entertained at VBS, but they will be challenged to think and learn more about God’s love and His creation.
