At our congregational meeting in July we brought to your attention that we were in process of redesigning the stage backdrop and working on a lighting project to enhance the control and use of light in the Sanctuary. At that time we had hoped to accomplish this work during the non-taping break for Hour of Power during August. We’ve been working diligently with multiple vendors on various different aspects of the project but we’re still in process of ironing out the final details.
We’ve decided that rather than meet our deadline with a product that wasn’t 100% we’re continuing to work on this project with our team, the consistory, and our outside vendors until we feel it’s captured what we’re going after.
The project is still very much underway and in the works. We hope to have something installed at some point this fall. The install will take between 7-10 days. We’ve made the decision that when the time comes we will schedule an additional taping break to allow us to complete the project.
We’re excited for what’s in the works and are looking forward to it’s completion!
